pentium d915 OC vs e4300

my presler is currently running at 3.8 stable, will it be equivalent to a underclocked (1.6) e4300?? just curious though

I would say they are just about equal.

Reason: I saw some benchmarks some time ago that had a stock E6300 (1.86GHz) and a stock Pentium D 965 Extreme (3.73GHz = 2 x 1.86)...they both scored the same give or take a few percentage points. Note: Hyper-Threading on the D 965 EE was turned off.
