I'm going to be picking up a pentium D 805 and a motherboard and wondered the following:
1- do all socket t motherboards work with pentium d's or only specially marked ones?
2 - Can I use DDR-1 with a pentium d? this is for my dad as an upgrade and he'd like to use his old ram if possible (of course I expect a performance hit but that's cool with him)
3- any good, sub-$70 boards with ddr1 support and agp? are the sis and via chipsets ok?

thanks!

1) specifically marked ones, for intel, it'd be 945, 955, 965, 975, ati, rc410, etc...
2) nope, ddr2 afaik, unless 910 works w/ dualcore, or 865/875
3) i'm 95% sure u'd have to upgrade to ddr2 + pci-e if you want to get dualcore on intel
