just curious, got my 3.0 @ 3.52, idles at 38-40C, max load is around 58-60C.
is that safe for these cpu's? i havent read up on these too much.

btw, got this to 3.52ghz on the dual asrock vsta, 235fsb and i beleive i still have room to play.

anyone else have that board with similar results?

Those temps are pretty good actualy, and thats a nice OC for stock voltage. You can go up to about 72c before throttling will kick in.

Those temps are very safe, and actually allow you even more oc'ing headroom.

In my experience, the 9xx Pentium's prove to be quite the overclockers. I was able to get my 940 up to 3.9ghz at stock voltage and it was running at 25C idle and 40C load with a good cooler. I would have been able to go higher, except I was using mediocre quality mobo and ram...
