Scythe Ninja or Scythe Mine, Thermaltake Big Tyhpoon, XP-90. The stock heatsink is ok for up to about 3.2-3.4ghz.

well...3.5GHz was my intended target...gonna try to get that out of an ASRock 775Dual-VSTA.
25% OC:
From: 200x14=2.8GHz
To: 250x14=3.5GHz

Your suggestions still stand?
Can you be more specific?

Suggesions still stand, the Scythe ninja is what I am using with my 805(55c load at 3.6ghz), the 915 will run cooler at the same speed. Good luck with the OC, I tried a bunch of budget motherboards, and they all got stuck at around 220mhz FSB with either of my 920's, even though they would go much higher with a single core.

Tuniq Tower 120

edit: Tuniq Towers are incredibly hard to find. I'd go with a Zalman CNPS8000. Nice cooling, but quiet

and overhyped IMO, the freezer 7 pro by arctic cooling is your best bang for buck by far for $21 shipped @ provantage.com. It can keep up with the ninja in temps and lacks by just 1db in the noise department. True, the tower 120 can't be found in stock anywhere, though it is the best air cooler available.

i was really thinking of getting the Freezer 7 Pro but now i'm confused.
there are soooo many good coolers out there.

i want something quiet but not fanless.
i want something effective but not huge.
i want something that looks nice in my case but actually works.

any help along those lines ?
thanx in advance.
