Pentium 4 Temps

Hi, I am running a pentium 4 2.8c Ghz Chip on an asus p4p800 deluxe motherboard, Im using a thermaltake Spark 7 W/ arctic Silver 3. My question is 93 Degrees Farenheit a good temperature for it to be at?

No its not overclocked yet... Just a new machine, me worrying.. lol it was 88 degrees last night when I finished puting it togather today its 93 degrees

34c is nothing. It's actually very cool. Get above 50c or 120-125f, then you can start worry a little.

Yeah, my 2.4C overclocked to 3.24 runs under a load at 50c. Intel's max die temperature for it is 75c ...

50c isnt that bad either. But when someone has a stock p4 running at that temp is just odd. Which Cheww2 isnt.

I think the P4P800 must under report temps. I get the following with a P4 2.6 "C" @ 3.3Ghz (stock voltage) with an SLK-900U and Panaflo 92mm L1A 43CFM fan - case is Antec Sonata with no intake and 120mm outtake fan spinning around 1500rpm average (1800 under load):

Idle: MB - 30 CPU - 25
Load: MB - 36 CPU - 41

Seems so low!!

yes it is low by roughly 14*C.

the ic7 and p4g8x is high by about 15*C....

like i said ~ just ignore it

Hmm .. my P4C800 Deluxe seems to report temps alright .. even though it considers my CPU fan off-line when it is running fine ..

You seem to be ok, mine is running 45C (113F) under constant load (running Seti@home) with stock cooling and moderate case cooling...

Im planning on overclocking my 2.8c to 3.2ish(If i can). I have thermaltake spark 7 on it w/ arctic silver 3. It's in a Thermaltake Xaser 3 case which has 7 fans.... So I take it in the 90's is nothing.

That should be a piece of cake.....

I have high temps on my Abit IT7, so I adjusted motherboard monitor until I thought they where where they should be(about -5c). And you know what? I don't worry about temps anymore. Because even though I knew it was wrong, it was still scarry to see my overclocked 2.4B hitting 62 C under load.
