I am going to be building a Pentium 4 3.06 GHz system. I have some questions.

1. What is the best type of RAM to get? Should I go with RDRAM (800 MHz, 1066 MHz) or DDR SDRAM PC3200(266 MHz, 333 MHz, 400 MHz)? What would be the best brands for RAM?- Samsung, Micron Technologies, Kingston, PNY, and/or any other brands you know about? What should I stay away from? What about the CL number for DDR SDRAM?- CL=2, CL=2.5, CL=3, and etc...?

2. What about FSB speed relating to the CPU and RAM type?

3. What is the best motherboard brand and chipset for a P4 3.06 GHz based on my previous questions?

1. Corsair XMS PC 3500

2. Get a new 800 mhz FSB CPU Like the 3.0 ghz not 3.06

3. ASUS i875P (Not an intel fan correct me if i'm wrong)

At this point, you want to buy PC3200 DDR SDRAM. For overclocking, you may wish to consider PC3500.

Generally Kingston and Corsair are top choices.

Lowest CAS Latency is best, ie CAS2.

The best 875P board is still a matter of considerable debate. If i was buying today I'd get an Abit IC7-G and Kingston 3500 RAM.
