Pentium 4 release date

Do you guys know when Intel is releasing Pentium 4s. I heard it was in October, but then I heard it's not.

heh, imagine yourself two years in the past "man, daikatana is gonna be awesome, when's it gonna be released?? next month? cool.". That's the p4 situation...aswell as the halo situation..

The information on that website about Intel's chips is whacked. Itanium was not released yesterday. Timna has been cancelled. PIII-1GHz chips are STILL not available in volume (not Q3, as it claims).

I'm guessing the P4 won't come out in volume until late Q1 or even Q2 next year. Intel hasn't been doing all that well lately.
