Pentium 4 RC5 core?

One of our members, Train, has decided to work on a p4 core. You can read obout his initial thoughts in this thread. I do not know whether he has gotten his compiler yet and has started work.
 
Well, i didnt feel like forking over $399 for Intels retail P4 C++ compiler plugin, so im still waiting for the evaluation version to be released, which, according to Intel's site, will be "soon"

In the meantime, im trying to learn the IA-32 instruction set (1100+ pages of intel documentation, yuk) which is going slowly but surely. I'll keep you guys posted.
