Pentium 4 Processor Temperatures

Hi guys i have a pentium 4 3.2 lga775 and I am trying to find out how hot it should be running at

1) idle times
2) low load
3) high load


I checked the HW forum but they are all threads about AMD systems and im not giving google the right keywords to find the info i am looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

also if you know a good utility to check out tempetures in windows that would be great too.

Check your motherboard manual, Asus and intel include software, others might too.

Now that that's out of the way, I use Motherboard Monitor to monitor my system temps. It seems to work fine for me. As for the ideal temps for a P4, sorry I don't have a clue since I don't own a P4

Start getting concerned if it melts parmesean.

my 2.4@ 2.8 runs up to 70C on a load. 47-55 on idle.

prescotts are hawt
