Pentium 4 performance

I just added a Pentium 4 2.0, no HT, and it estimates a WU every 5.5 hours. Does this sound right? Seems slow to me.

Yep...a tad slow. My Dell 2.26 GHz P4 running 400 FSB and PC2100 gets 3 hours 17 minutes per WU on WinXP. Running CLI 3.03 and SETIDriver. Maybe something chewing up your processing?

That does sound kind of slow.
I have an Athlon Tbird running at 1.54ghz with SDRAM and thats doing 5hour work uints (with chessbrain running aswell).

Its CLI version 3.03, and Seti Driver. Task manager shows seti getting 99% of the CPU.

This isn't my system, its a friend's that I am redoing. I only build Athlon systems. Any idea why its slow?

Heck, now its saying 5:45 total time. I have a P3 650 here thats not too much worse than that.

Yea 🙁 Does SDRAM effect it that much? Its got 512. Has slots for DDR and SDRAM. They did so many crazy things building this system...
