Do they even sell these? The only one I can think of is the one in Shuttle's Barebone P4 box with the sis chipset, as its required due to the cramping. I am in the same situation, except thats in uATX form factor. The DVD drive blocks 1/2 of my intel HS/F's airflow when mounted (vertically) and the clearance is probably millimeters. The board says its running at 55 or 60 degrees celcius, and I made sure that the heatsink is making good contact to the CPU, as I have mounted the heatsink numerous times. I am using the intel heatsink/fan with the thermal pad.

Anyone seen a P4 Low profile cooler for sale? Copper is not required, as no overclocking is going on here.

The CPU is a 1.8GHz Northwood, with a 1.42 VCore.

Thanks Heaps. :D

Well, you could ditch the Thermal bad and drop the temp with ASIII a bit. A smaller heatsink isn't going to to you any good though with such a cramped case, it would most likely make it worse. I don't know of any with the P4 spec either, try doing a serch on google.

All I know is that the only heatsink that exists so far is the one that comes with the Shuttle system.
