i have a the following specs

pentium 4 1.8 willamate stock fan/heatsink combo
MSI 645 ultra (MS-6547) (voltage/frequency contrtol )
256 mb pc2700 cl2 corsair ddr333 heatspreaders integrated
40 gb 7200 rpm westerndigital caviar
asus v7700 pure geforce 2 gts 32 mb

well i just can't overclock my 1.8 willamate at all ,, each time i increase the fsb and save the bios settings and exit ,, the pc goes to suspend mode then it resets the fsb to the default of 100 mhz ,, so what can i do to overclock the cpu .. is there any bios settings that can prevent my cpu from being overclocked ..,please tell mt the procedure of o/c in details and tell me the exact values of the following

fsb
vcore
cpu to dram clock ratio
cpu multiplier ,, can it be adjusted ???

thanks for ur help ,,

Unless your Willamette processor was a relatively late production run, it generally won't overclock too well (nowhere near Northwood levels anyway).

What sort of FSBs are you trying? Try 105 at first, and then work your way up in 5MHz increments.
