Looks like the only real huge advantage is the more memory bandwidth, but I feel I have enough already running at PC800!

Anand has it and so does Tom's Hardware, who also has benchmarks of the P4 going up to 2.8 GHz and also a Palomino 2400 XP+. In fact he's got about 20 CPUs in total so you can see a nice scaling of the different speeds. I just wish somebody did some Serious Sam benchmarks because those are the ones I want to see the most.

Boy, that P4 is sure looking better and better every day.

OK, I've found some Serious Sam benchmarks now. It's good to see the Pentium4 dominating that benchmark too as traditionally it hasn't done very well in it.

Also those TweakTown guys are clearly clueless when it comes to testing CPUs. Also a some of their comments about the games they tested were just plain wrong.
