I've been having a hard time finding DDR motherboards for 478-pin Pentium 4's that explicitly say they support ECC. The chipsets do, but the BIOS on the motherboards don't.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Doesn't matter man, unless you're planning on running a server.... Desktop systems have little or no use for it at all. The odds of a memory error ECC would be applied to is 1 in 6,000years or something like that. Don't even give it a second thought.

Well, I've got a lot of friends that work on the higher end server stuff, that's where I got my info, like anything, I could be mistaken!

hehe. Although I wasn't aware of the FAQ entry, I figured that pm probably posted this with a good reason. :)

Does it make alot of difference in the support for ECC? What about RDrAM? is there any with ECC support from the biose and chipset?
