Pentium 4 Auxillary Power Connector

What are these connectors used for? Have an ASUS p4t and Interl D850GB in front of me and both provide these connectors.

The connectors fit perfectly with these Half-AT-ish connectors on my Antec Power supplies, but I don't know what they do...

Forgive my ignorance, first time I'm working on a P4 and these new power connectors are confusing. Manuals were zero help...

They supply extra power to the cpu itself. I think it's called a +12V connector, but I could be wrong.

There are two.

A 6x1 pin AUX Server connector.
3black and 3red/orange.

Red = +5V, Orange = +3.3V.
It's extra current for those two voltages.
PCI cards, RAM, and the motherboard in general use these two voltages.

The other is a 2x2 pin ATX12V connector
2 yellow and 2 black

Yellow is +12V.

This line has the voltage stepped down to provide a bunch of extra power for your CPU.
