Just wondering if there is any info on the new 'Cedar Mill' Pentium 4 chips (65nm). I'm only interested in the single core (6x1 series). How do they compare with the current chips as far as heat and power output go? I can hardly find any info on the web.
Currently I have a P4 3.6 GHz (the original version with 1MB L2 - predating the 5xx series even), which I think is about 115W? The room that the PC is in gets very hot. I would like something cooler and more stable. How would the new Cedar Mill compare? How much power does it use?
Thanks all.
