Pentium 3's have no temp sensors?

I never really bothered looking at my temps, but I decided to take off the fan off the heatsink of my P3-450MHz as I'm trying to reduce noise.

I'd like to monitor my temps, but I notice that my BIOS only gives me mobo temps... And Everest gives me only mobo and HDD temps... did P3's not implement this or something?

Also, what are the signs that a cpu is overheating anyways? In case I need to test things the old fashioned way.

It's a Slot 1 btw.

It's a prebuilt by Seanix btw. I'm wondering how I can adjust the clock speed. I would actually like to underclock it (want to turn it iinto a jukebox for my room) . It is possible that my BIOS is crippled without options like these?

It' s more likely that your motherboard doesn't support CPU on die temperature sensor monitoring.
