pentium 3 1.0ghz

have pentium3 1.0g need to know how much i can overclock it to without being unstable, i have the asus tusl-2 motherboard. also need to know how far i can overclock the gforce 3 ti 500 visiontek to. Just built system need help.

do you have the 133FSB one or the 100FSB? if you have the 133FSB...1100-1200 seems to be the ceiling on those... but that's pretty rare. if you have the 1000E you can get up to 1.33GHz fairly easy.

You just built the system and you picked the PIII 1ghz as the CPU?? Was money an issue? I see you went for a Ti500, but shake my head and wonder why you didn't consider a 1.6A? I believe the price diff is like $50?

yeah i know i'm going to give this one to my kids and i'm going to build a pent4 just waiting for them to get all bugs out of the pentium4's plus waitng to c what speed their going to come out with next. do u know how much i can overclock the geforce.

My PIIIEB 1 GHz did 1200 (160 FSB) with stock HS/Fan and stock 1.75 Vcore. I never tried any higher.

On the Ti500, if it is Gainward, you may be able to get 260/585 out if it. If it is another brand, expect a little less. Keep in mind, you may be limited to the card potential with only 1ghz behind it.

I dont think hes concerned about what that system does because it wont be for him... but he's right... you can put a GF4 in there and youll pretty much have the same frame rate. i would know. i have this problem. just waiting for AMDs next move.
