Pentium 200 review at Glide Underground

<< Although there have been some advances in processor design by both AMD and Intel, the Pentium still remains a contender. Last I checked, a Pentium processor could be had at a computer show for about $4? that?s over 99% cheaper than a new Athlon! Now I don?t know about you, but I wouldn?t argue with prices that low. By sacrificing 80% of the processing power, you lower your price by 99%. Any shopper can tell you that that?s a good deal. >>

Im sure Modus will tell ya that anything pre 486 will be a better value cause most people will pay you to take care of them, and who can offer a better value than free, or even getting paid? ;)

Ultimate Value? hehe

well, don't just compare CPU prices.. Add the whole computer up.. Mobo, Ram, Video...etc..

Then compare prices.. You'll see the price difference grow a LOT closer together than your 99% number.

lol, maybe 95% :)

As if anyone wouldn't sell me a P200 system for under $100, this isn't even MMX for crying out loud :D I just woudlnt' want one.

Besides the number is quoted from the article, it's not mine :p

Damn it NFS4...do you get to back date your posts? ;)

I did a search and didn't see it...must have spelled something wrong...
If I just searched for Pentium 200 it would match Pentium 200Mhz wouldn't it?

oh well...
