Pentax K-01 Mirrorless K-mount camera

Full size K-mount. Awesome for compatibility of a very long line of lenses, kinda cruddy for the body's size, considering it's MILC. It's not all that much smaller than a K5. Actually makes me wonder if Pentax is going to drop their entry level DSLR lines. No mention of weathersealing, which I find disappointing.

Mirrorless + full-size mount. People might want to diss this, but I don't understand why you care about how the camera looks - it's not a rangefinder. And it's funny, people knock EVFs but then complain when it doesn't have on? WTF - this is probably the only mirrorless I would replace my A33 with depending on the processing done by Pentax. Also depends on the price.

I tend to shoot more with my LCD over the EVF on my A33 unless I'm using burst mode.

I've had 3 cameras with an EVF. Fuji 2800, Minolta A1, and Sony HX1. I've always used the EVF except when I need to hold the camera somewhere other than eye level. It's easier to hold the camera steady, and easier to see what you're doing.

Yes & no - I do like using the EVF when I compose shots, but I find that since my LCD tilts and swivels, I always try to use different angles instead of just going with eye level. Using my bag to rest my elbows, I can get good waist level shots that are very steady, while having the LCD tilted towards me in either direction (portrait or landscape.) It's always going to be a two way street - the question most of us should be concerned with is the hotshoe - does it support an EVF add-on a la early Olympus PEN styling.

Looks like ass. Shame, I was waiting for another worthy mirrorless APS-C cam to hit the market after my X-Pro 1 dreams died with the price announcement.
