Pentax is good! I have this Camera, and its great! It might not be as good as the Rebel, but its definitely a great starter camera. Plus, you can't beat the price! You could get 2 for the price of one Rebel! Not to mention the fact that Pentax gave me a $200 rebate instead of a $100 rebate. That was a month or two ago, not sure if it would happen again.
