looks like 2950 is going to fix a lot of the problems that have plagued them since r600's intro. could the 2950xt become a true competitor (finally) for the 8800gtx? Nvidia certainly has the advantage right now with all the money they've made recently, now they need to capitalize on it for g100 and beyond and not give ati a chance to catch up.

It seems that the story itself will be repeated again, like with the X1900 which was what the X1800 was supposed to be. It seems that both company are doing a complot or something, the GeForce FX came 6 month's late with performance in which wasn't on par with their rivals, now the R600 is having the same story. Other one is the 7800 which was a reworked 6800 which showed the strenghts of the NV40 architecture, like the X800 which did the same thing with the 9800. Strange eh?
