Will desktop penryns (sorry dont know code-name for desktop version) be released featuring the 1600mhz FSB?

If so does anyone know if support for this feature will be available on the P35 chipset based MBs? I know my board could probably hit 400 mhz pretty easily overclocking wise, but does anyone suspect bios flashes enabling the 1600 MHZ bus?

The only stock 1600fsb will be Skulltrail and that uses the 771 socket with Fbdimms its also a 2 socket M/B .

I believe that X38 X48 will have 1600fsb in the bios tho. So you will be O/C the memory

i dont see how a bios flash wouldnt fix that.

The P35's can overclock to 500fsb. 400fsb is 1600, quad pumped.

I dont think intel would screw us over like Nvidia does on SLI. So id think a bios flash is all it would take.
