I just saw this and I have much respect for these two guys. I cannot believe the crap going on in Georgia about pushing Creationism as a science. Screw religion.
I look forward to seeing future episodes.

How is that any different than pushing evolution as science?

Cult: A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.

Christianity is not a cult, I'm afraid.

BTW, this is my 1000th post :)

A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, Check.

With its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader., Check (wasting sundays,no pre marital sex, preachers)

Hmm seems to fit the description to me.

LOL. im calling bs on the show itself. what a bunch of liberal propaganda crap. thats the worst report/discussion on "the bible" and "creationism" that has ever been compiled. this is the kind of show where someone from the "right" goes on for an interview and when they see the show, they've spliced up the interview to make them look like complete morons. i've seen it firsthand and some of you guys need to try searching for your truth on your own rather than from people who made their living by deceiving people.

Winnar!!!!!!!!

It's sad that Christian bible thumpers view a cult as a bunch of money-grubbing, weirdly dressed chanting freaks. They then go to church, watch the funny man in the pointy hat and robes, recite 10 "Our Fathers", pass the collection plate and thank their impotent, child-molesting God that they're not hooked up with a money-grubbing, weirdly dressed chanting freakish cult.

Before this thread devolves into another of the common arguments between the informed, enlightened, intelligent and educated versus the backwards, Puritanical, close-minded and ignorant "Inherit the Wind" townsfolk, let me just say this:

Penn and Teller's Bullsh!t is one of the best shows on TV.

Penn and Teller are awesome... unfortunately, you have a very warped view of Christianity.
