After Pence's pretty solid debate performance he is looking like a more likeable Ted Cruz and as of now a strong 2020 contender. The SS Trump is rapidly taking water. I predict Mr. Pence keeping a low profile for the next few days and if Trump is an embarrassment at the debate I bet Pence drops out to preserve his gravitas so to say and Christie or Giuliani step in.

Pence knew what he was getting into, and I don't think he's so valuable to the GOP that they would be happy with him dropping out. Unless he decides to go maverick and rebrand himself, but I doubt that will happen.
