Does that kid weigh 30 pounds or something? When he gets hit by the (less than regulation size) soccer ball it looks like hes been hit by a car.

He is startled more then hurt I bet. It was the least likely thing he expected. Of corse he drops down, pretty basic reaction to taking anything unexpected in the face.
