Does everyone just use 2 power supplies to power their peltier? I am getting a new case and will probably be using a peltier with it. Should i just get a 250 watt or 300 watt power supply and then use a different PS for the peltier? Has anyone ever used just one PS (maybe 350 or 400 watt) with a peltier on their system?
I don't have that many system components...a couple fans, one HD, one dvd/cd-rom drive, 1 video card, modem, sound card, network card - that's it. If i got a good 350 watt power supply do you think it would be sufficient for the peltier?

Thanks.

Buddyholly...I am using just a 55W peltier, so that 300 W power supply should be more than adequate for me.
What do you mean by 12a on the 12v line?
thanks for the help.

For a pelt, the most important thing is the output on your 12v line. It should be listed on your power supply. Not all 300w p/s have that kind of power output, but most should be ok with a 55w pelt. Hope that helps. Let me know if not
