Peltiers and air chillers

I read an article in anandtech, tat said a way to create an air chiller from a peltier (tec). as anyone ever tried this?
I want to experiment with some cooling systems. but i dont want to risk my computer to do it.
The article took a HSF and put it on the cold side of the peltier.
Just wanted to know what kind of temps you got and other info.
