Peltier question?

Not to sound dumb, but is there a clip modification or clip replacement when installing a Peltier and a heatsink such as the Alpha PAL6035? I know these clips are tight as heck as it is, so how do you manange to place a Peltier betweent the HS and chip with the original clip?

This is just out of curiosity, I am not attempting to install a Peltier...

I would like to know myself. I just got my 72watt tec today and with the copper cold plate its about 3/8" thick. Im hoping I can get my 566 to 952, 893 just doesnt cut it anymore 😉.

There must exist a larger clip,as the one supplied is way to small.I too have a peltier and a 370 mo/bo.The peltier with its thermal plate is too high for the stock spring clip to work.

got to be one some where.It would be the same spring clip,only larger.

bp6.com in the reviews section under golden orbs 2 shows where he used paper clips to extend the spring clip!Will work for peltiers too,just make the extension longer.When in doubt,dig it out!!
