Peltier on a Tbird

I currently have a peltier on my celeron 366 oc'd to 550. I have a blue tbird 700 that I would like to put this peltier on, but I have one big concern: The size of the peltier pad (I don't know what else to call it) is quite a bit larger than the size of the tbird chip. Will this be a condensation problem? I'm worried about a big ol drop of water running down the surface of my new KT7-raid board...

MAke sure that you have the proper peltier unit for the job. I think that you will need larger than a 55 watt peltier. All of the power used by processors is given off as, and you will need to make sure that the power given off by the processor is a < the amount that the peltier can handle. Also make sure that you have a cold plate or some sort of back up plan just in case you peltier gives out. A t-bird will be fried without a heatsink in about a minute.

GOOD LUCK!

You might want to check in for the copper spacers that some manufacters sell.
