I’m curious what people think a 78 year old member of the 0.1 % is going to do for them.

Right now Pelosi is probably the best choice if she doesn't sell us out. She knows how to get shit done and is why Trump and his fans should be fearful. Pelosi came out and said that Trump can be indicted, that there is no legal basis about it. The House is giving Mueller everything discovered including what Nunes tried to hide.

So expect the Dems will have a chat with the SDNY/Mueller about all of this including indictment and they'll have to do better than say "well there's a memo".

Yeah I’m good with the compromise. Pelosi for the next two years then someone else.

Thanks for posting that link. Was looking around for it after I read the OP's comment about her "lying" about not supporting Pelosi. I knew I had read otherwise but couldn't find where.

Conservatives are absolutely losing their mind about a junior congresswoman. It’s insane.

Atreus21 told me in another thread that she lied about her background. This is untrue but I’m positive that conservative media has convinced itself and its viewers that it’s true.

I don't know if i agree with all her policy positions, but I'm on board with the ones I've heard of thus far. Other than that, she's young, attractive, charismatic, and has buckets of attitude. The GOP damn well better be terrified.

Pelosi is to old, to incompetent, to rich, to out of touch. Just another corrupt politician that sells out under the D brand.

Trolls who voted for an old, fat, corrupt, incompetent member of the 0.000001% for President expect us to believe they're concerned about Pelosi. Pathetic.

It's estrogen poisoning they fear more than anything else. Might make 'em gay, degrade their manly essence or maybe pollute their precious bodily fluids. Or something. I mean, it's like poison gas, ya know?

Be able to actually use the rules of the house to effectively maneuver against Trump and McConnell while preparing for the major battle in 2020?

Not really a job I would entrust to a noob

I actually generally agree with you on this point.
Most of us here who are self-supporting adults wouldn't take even fashion advice from our parents.

Maybe not fashion advice (altho since of the leading fashion designers are rather old), but nor would I want a Sargent planning the D Day invasion.
