I just put together my new box and MAN what an easy build that was.

abit kt7a raid
1 gig tbird (136 fsb 7.5 multiplier)
creative labs annihilator w/32 ddr ram
maxtor 20 gig ata 66 7200 rpm/8.4 gig ata 33 5400
generic dvd
sony spressa cd rw
linksys nic (slot 3)
zoom pci modem (slot 4)
generic sound card with yamaha chipset (slot 6)

I did not have one problem with this build at all. I am having a lil network issue with seeing my own system on the network but I can see my wifes and she can see mine so no biggy for now.

got crucial pc133 cas2 256 meg

btw I have built many many systems over the past 20 years even worked for micron pc for like 6 months doing assembly in both a line format and full builds. BUT this was the easiest build I have ever done.

I am running about 125-130 under load and about 87 idle. Those temps seem more than resonable to me for a tbird???
