Do any of you run PG2? What's the purpose of it really? Is it only for people who download illegally? Buddy of mine told me I should run it anytime I download regardless of what I'm getting, just for protection. Another buddy runs it 24/7 even when he's not downloading anything, but I don't really see why you'd need to do that.

So, thoughts?
 
It's mainly giant blacklist of known "big brother" type organizations that will try to catch you downloading illegal stuff, but it also tries to block advertisers. The default settings are way too agressive for me though. When I had it block certain HTTP traffic, I couldn't get to Nokia.com and the default p2p list blocks access to Valve/Steam.
