I am looking for what a aproximate price for having a peer to peer setup in my small office there will be 3 computers i am just trying to get a general idea for a budget. I plan on it being wired and all i really need is someone to do it. Or is it not that hard to get to work on my own? Thanks and the price range would be great so i dont get taken advantage on.

Respectfully, Sean

Hmmm....... $25 - $5000
I don't think you want to do that, peer-to-peer. And without knowing how much secirity you want and exactly what functionality you need your question is kind of hard to answer.

I think you have two choices.
Read up about setting up small office networks, and see if you can do what you want/need yourself (it could be really easy/cheep ...if???)
or
Get three quotes (and let then tell you what they think you need).

Welcome to AnandTech?s Networking Forum.

3rd party work depends on the environment and might vary from one location to the other.
Get few estimates and if you cannot decide come back and ask.

DIY? It is impossible to instruct you from scratch over a Network forum. Buy a basic networking book read it and then come back and as focused question?
