peer guardian 2

can someone explain peer guardian 2 to me? what exactly does it do? or maybe i should ask how do the people it blocks track me or whatever?

It just prevents connections to whatever ip ranges are listed in the database.

Companies can buy another block of ip address that isn't on your block list; so, IMHO, it's useless if you're trying to prevent someone from finding out what you're sharing over p2p.
