This happen almost every year for Pedro. Someone need to teach him not to overuse his arm for the first half and have nothing left for the 2nd half.

The interesting thing is that, relative to other pitchers, he has NOT overused his arm by any means in the first half. He's averaging 6.9 innings and 105.2 pitches per game, by no means excessive numbers. He's thrown a total of 1578 pitches, there's at least 70 pitches who've thrown more than that.

Having followed the Red Sox newsgroup on and off all season, many fans complained when Jimy Williams took him out after 6 or 7 innings.

I feel bad for sox fans, even though I am a yanks fan. Sox always seem to get screwed.

Let's go Yankees! :D

I'm sorry to hear that another human being is in pain, but I don't really care that the red sox are in deep. ;) I'm a yankees fan, I can't like the red sox!

I really don't care one way or the other if he comes back or not. It's not going to make a difference. They are not going to win the division, they are not going to win the wild card. I honestly don't think I'm being premature in saying BALL GAME OVER....WORLD SERIES OVER....YANKEES WIN....THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YANKEES WIN!!!!!

BTW--Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing Pedro, he is an excellent pitcher, right up there with ROCKET for best in the league, but even he can't save the sux and break the curse.

IT GETS BY BUCKNER...IT GETS BY BUCKNER!!!!

note: i am not a mets fan, i just felt like bringing that up :)
