Like I said, I wouldn't act on such an idea, I'm looking at it from a more physiological view though. 18 is not necessarily the point that a person is mentally or physically an adult, and puberty for both boys and girls is much lower. To call a person a pedophile for being attracted to someone who is past puberty yet not of legal age is hypocritical to our own evolution and physical development.

Thankfully age groups, especially under 18 tend to group themselves into very specific age ranges, and tend to act a certain way that pretty much lets you know they are pretty young. Physically attractive or not, they are typically very annoying and childish, at least I think so.

But, In america the age of consent is 18 (AFAIK) in the UK it is 16, being attracted to a 16 year old does not therefore make me a pedophile. It may be a little creepy, but not a pedophile.

The definition of a pedophile is irrelevant from age of consent by psychologists. Few pedophiles are actually attracted to 'infants' so more of a range from around 6-13ish, there is a more specific age range but I don't care enough to correct you to look it up. It's probably lower than 13 as after that there is another term for 'young teens', of which I forget the term.
