I always wondered this too. It seems like it'd just be a matter of time before someone put a bullet in Chris Hansen and went out in a gun battle with all those cops outside. How has it not happened yet? Especially considering the popularity of the show (people caught on the show often have heard of it before.) So if you were going to engage in an illegal activity with some chance of it being a setup, why not go locked and loaded? Your life is over once you're busted anyway, it seems the blaze of glory would be the best way out.
 
eh i never watched that show, but they were catching guys going for teens or prepubescent children?
there is a big difference.
 
I'll be working at a childcare youth center thing for the next month. If I see any of you fuckers walk through that door, law enforcement will be immediately notified.
 
You guys want an honest evaluation as to why threads about screwing underage girls get so many posts on this internet forum?

Basically, most people here are nerdy as hell. Mostly social introverts. The interaction on these forums is all they have as far as being social.

They know when they are 26 living at home, and not particularly attractive, that there is no chance they will pick up a girl their age.

They are forced to look younger and younger for girls that will maybe just be impressed with age instead of looks or like accomplishments.....instead of just settling with girls in their "league".

I know there are plenty of people here that are not ugly and that have normal lives, but you have to understand that there is a whole "I'm a nerd but I want a really hot chick" sub-culture. Yes, it existed before the internet, but now it is becoming more and more prevalent....

On topic: The term "underage" is a legal construct in our culture, and having sex with someone who is underage carries some potentially serious legal consequences (and rightfully so!) However, pedophilia is a psychological disorder that relates to sexual attraction to children who have not yet reached puberty and thus do not possess secondary sexual characteristics.

In other words, it is one thing to have sex with someone who is potentially too young to have developed the tools to deal with the various physical and emotional ramifications of having sex, and it is quite another to have sex with someone whose body isn't yet physically ready for it at all.
