Peculiar memory problem? Need help

sometimes my computer will not boot. Instead it beeps repetitively. When I jiggle the ram in the memory slot. It boots right away. The Answer seems obvious but I wonder what could cause this problem out of the blue. I have an epox mvp3c2 mobo with generic ram. Never had a problem like this until recently. That is what astounds me. Any suggestions would be helpful

Sounds like a seating or contact problem.

Pull out the memory modules and clean up the contacts with a rubber pencil eraser.
