The inn keeper is fishing in the lake, but he's not having much luck with traditional bait choices.

Otherwise, you don't need to interact with him at all.
I've been wandering around getting mostly nothing accomplished. I got the mask, scared the horse, fed the fish, and got the arrow, and now I'm wandering.

You need the Trinket. Visit the woman with the baby and when you leave she will give you a clue about it.
Find the Trinket and then go learn how to shoot arrows. This part smacks of monkey island.
How the hell do you find it? She says "my baby left something in the yard" I can type "look yard" and "look bush" and "look grass" and "look dirt" and I don't find anything.
I played this last night and had so much fun!!!! I wish they would make a full game like this. It *almost* makes me want to reinstall some old games. (If I could even get them to work...)
