I think this must be my favorite band beyond any others. How many others here enjoy their music ?

I would have to say my most preferred songs are

HailHail
Jeremy
You Are
Everything from the album "Yield"

What are everyone else's favorite songs ?

Everything off the album ten :)
 cheers to that!

I really got into them when I got my first album, Yield, and am slowly working my way through the older ones now. This album is amazing as well, huge replayability as well.

Yeah,

Pearl Jam is probably the best modern rock band within the last 15 years or so. Went to the Dallas show last year and it was awesome. This band is probably one of the best in regards to its fans (they don't care if you bootleg their shows, trying to fight Ticketmaster to keep ticket costs down, etc.). Strange thing is I used to hate them when I was younger...I was more of a Nirvana fan back in high school. Only within the last few years have I finally *gotten* them. They are hard to get in to because they vary greatly in terms of their music...listen to their Binaural CD and compare to something like Ten or VS and you'll know what I mean. I've actually heard "Thumbing My Way" on a country radio station before. Whether it be "All Those Yesterdays" (sounds like something the Beatles would do) or "Go" (hints of Fugazi), there's a little bit of everything in their music.

Do any of you have the 5 against 1 album or does yours say Vs. on it?

I got my cd before they came out labeled Vs. Originally it was called 5 against 1. I always thought I should have kept it sealed and bought another one with the Vs. label on it.

Now that's something I wouldn't mind having in my collection...not too sure how hard those are to find but that is pretty sweet.
