Peanuts + Cola???

The roommate told me that when he was down in Alabama for the summer he saw some of his co-workers dropping peanuts into a bottle of cola and drinking it. Does anyone here do that?

This topic came up at dinner one night, so while my friend was in the bathroom we filled half his Dr. pepper full of peanuts, he didn't drink it though.

Yeah its good stuff. I've found that it really only tastes great if its an actual glass bottle and only a REAL Coke will do!

I'll drop red licroice in there cause it makes a nice flavor combination. I started a thread a while ago about how Coke needs to make that a new flavor.....seriously try it.

Anyway, I wonder if the salt counters out some of the carbination. Some people are more sensitive to the stinging sensation.
