In the Toronto Sun this morning, so no link yet. Seems thousands of protestors in multiple countries protested with only two hundred or so violent ones. As well for those in Toronto, thousands of muslims are suppose to gather today outside of the Danish consulate.

I will look for an online link on the net for the protestests. For those with the Toronto Sun, both stories appear on page 27.

I don't know what side to take on this issue...
I advocate free speech and I thought some of the cartoons were somewhat funny. At the same time, I do feel Islam in today's world is misrepresented and these sorts of cartoons don't help this.

It's one thing to make a joke about Americans/Canadians/Jews, because we can brush them off as most know this is not the norm. Unfortuantely with Islam, many people feel the jokes are actaully true.

I dunno...

How are they not accurate? Evidence would indicate otherwise. The idea, in basic terms, is that Islam is violent. After the last 2 weeks of embassy burnings, death threats, and so forth, facts on the ground seem to support the idea.
