PDF viewer?

Any good options for pdf viewing?
I've tried:

Adobe Reader:
-keeps asking to update, requiring administrator access
-runs processes on startup
-can't add notes to pdfs

Foxit:
-bad font rendering (no cleartype)

Font rendering is important so I'd choose Adobe Reader but is there a good alternative to these two?

Thanks.

Thanks, but neither of those viewers use cleartype. [rant]It's like going back 11 years! It's not as if it takes any programming effort to use cleartype![/rant]

Back to Adobe Reader I guess. 🙁

Isn't cleartype controlled by Windows, not by specific applications, such as PDF Viewer? In other words, it's a global feature, not app-specific.

Yes it should be, but these apps are apparently rendering the text themselves, sending an image rather than text to Windows, and making a mess of it.
