PDF to Excel Conversion

I handle a lot of data at work, some of it only comes in PDF format for security reasons. To avoid doing tons of data entry, I want to convert those files into excel and let the macro take care of the rest. The program I found for free trial is 'Able2Convert' - which, based on my test, works fine. However it will set me back, at least, $100 (my company is frugal). Is there a cheaper and/or free program that does PDF to Excel conversion? Thanks.

I think I'd develop an analysis of cost savings due to time saved in reduced data entry and try to persuade the company to buy the software. It's hard to believe a company would not be willing to pay $100 for software that could save them much more than that just in the first year of use.

Here's another one that looks good: http://www.investintech.com/able2extract.html It also costs about $100. And, another: http://www.cogniview.com/pdf2xl.php

I haven't seen any freeware options yet. But, you might do some hunting at http://www.google.com/search?h...ion&btnG=Google+Search

Yeah, I don't see why $100 should be a problem for even the most frugal of companies. If you need to convert PDF's with any frequency, then that $100 will be paid back in a few weeks. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Your real problem is figuring out which program will cover your needs in the most efficient manner.
