if i receied pdf application, how can i fill it out and e-mail it is there way to convert it to word document

There is not an easy way to convert it to a Word document in Adobe's programs, if the person who created the PDF didn't set it to be editable. The problem with that any older version doesn't have that ability, so many people who forked over tons of cash cannot even do it when creating a PDF. This is one reason why PDF format sucks and everything should be a free format like .doc.
 
If you have Adobe Acrobat, (not Adobe Reader), you can add text boxes to the document as long as it is not protected/secured.
