PDF printing and page extraction

Can anyone recommend software for printing to PDF and extracting pages from PDFs?
For occasional use.

For printing to pdf I use PDFCreator. You can find it at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/. For extraction I use one of the many online pdf to Word converters. I've had good luck in the past with http://www.pdfonline.com/pdf-to-word-converter/.

Thanks for the printing link. For page extraction I just meant the simple task of taking a pdf and producing a pdf with a subset of pages. This can be done fine with a pdf printer provided that pdf to pdf printing is lossless, which I'm not sure about.
