PDAs

Hello, I need to get organized in a big way. This is my life right now:

1. Second child born this past week

2. Full time business owner

3. Taking 18 credit hours at college

I cannot afford to let anything slip by the cracks as you can clearly see. So please help me find a PDA that doesnt suck and suits my needs. If anyone has a link to a webpage that reviews PDAs that would rock (I haven't googled that yet, so anything is helpful).

I need something that is easy to use, doesnt require hours and hours of "playtime" before I can get comfortable with all functions, has a good software package, and has some long term staying power (not obsolete in 6 months). I would like it to be less than $300 but would consider something $400 if it is heads and shoulders above something everything else.

Thanks in advance for the help 🙂

Dell Axim x50 520MHz is a mix between the x50v 624MHz and the x50 416MHz. It's about $340 or possibly less with coupons and such. The Axim x30 series are nice too. Most of the mid and higher end models have all the bells & whistles (bluetooth, WiFi). The x50v is like the mother of all PDAs but it's expensive.

I have the older x3i 400MHz and i'm pretty satsified with it although I wish it had bluetooth.

I also second the Treo 650 if you want a nice Palm OS handheld/phone but they're usually $550 without a service plan ($300 after MIR with a new service plan and 1-2yr contract)

I personally own an x30 624mhz version and was very pleased with it. I am actually getting ready to put it up on Ebay, but if you would be interested I would love it to go to someone from AT. I was looking to get about 250 out of it with all it's acc and extras (which is just really a rhino skin case).

PocketPC gives good graphic supports (If you care about Microsoft) and some decent apps and Palm OS is very strong one and have several BEST apps.

Pass I bought 2 and never used them. You think you will but you really wont.

Get a good phone with some PDA like functions its better.

True I bought it for travel and now I have not travel for a long time the PDA is collecting thick dust now.
So I bought Sidekick mobile phone.

I bought the x50v 400mhz version with rhino case, and travel USB synch (extra one for work) for $300. That version that you are selling is going for about the same price, FYI, for whne you are pricing for eBay. Thanks for the offer, but I like my electronics new 😛

I'd go with the Dell. I've had my X5 for years and love it. My brother just got an X50, I think the 400mhz with the Rhino case too, and loves it.
