Hi All.
This is an update on a topic that I had several weeks back, and told everyone I'ld keep 'em posted. We were in the market for a pda that could be used primarily in a medical environment, and had many people post recommendations and give me links. I've researched many many links and reviews and we've decided to opt for the HP 568 though the Casio was a close second.
Most of the software that my wife targeted (and her hospital recommended) is available for the Palm or PPC OS, and several are targeted specifically for the HP. Battery life is an issue and there's no beating the Palms there, but even Palm has said that in the next year they will be moving to the same processor used by HP, to take advantage of the more demanding software.
Again folks, thanks to everyone that had offered suggestions and gave me pm's or links that helped in the search. Though i admit that spending more then $800 on a pda and software hurts, especially when you consider the killer upgrades I could buy
. Ummmmmmm, I'll let you know how much my wife appreciates the effort
have a good weekend everyone
ps - hope this still falls in the confines of the general hardware forum.
