PDA Screen Issue - Suggestions Needed

I just got an @migo PD-600C PDA and (as much as I like it), it's got one glaring issue that must've formed in shipping. The upper-right corner of the screen is distorted and has an "oil-on-water" rainbow effect. The screen beneath the effect is still visible, just distorted because of the "colors" over it. If I massage the screen in the area where this pattern is, it shortly goes away - as in close to 5 seconds. During this time, if I press elsewhere on the screen, this problem shows up there shortly. Then, when the 5 seconds are up, the effect reforms. It's almost as if a liquid is under the screen, but I doubt that.

A suggestion on pocketpcfanatic's forums said that this problem probably was due to the case putting pressure on the screen due to misalignment, which would make sense. The poster also said to return it for repair if possible, but URThere's warranty doesn't support 1) group-buy users, and 2) people who aren't the original buyer (I got it from a person who bought it in a group-buy), so that's out. I really don't want to have to return this thing and leave the seller out the money from shipping it priority (and I also really like it and don't know if I can come across another for this price and with a cradle, which isn't included with all of them).

Does anyone know how to fix this problem - for that matter, has anyone experienced it? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

Is there a reason that the company would know you aren't the original buyer? I mean, are they asking for a copy of your receipt or something? In my experience, as long as the unit itself is still under warranty, it shouldn't matter who you are. Other than getting it repaired/replaced from them, I don;t think you can fix it yourself.
